Anyone want any free First Aid Training
The MK Paramedics have offered some free First Aid trianing to Cyclone.
Next Friday at the Bletchley ambulance station starts at 19:00.
It will cover most of the injuries that may happen on the trails.
No qualifications just the trianing.
ANyone interested for a few hours?
Thanks
Nath

Re: Anyone want any free First Aid Training
Sat here in my shorts watching telly and the puss and goo seeping from my knee following my spill this afternoon from "playing" on the bridge over the dual carriageway at li'l Brickhill....
Gladly, nothing broken, legs and arms and shoulder still working although a bit stiff and a tad messy. Lobster only suffered ripped saddle and bust bar-end.
Most usefully , Andrew was carrying antiseptic wipes and a bandage , which i needed to apply pressure to stop the bleeding.
I knew pretty much what to do , but wasn't carrying the kit to do it myself. Lesson there I guess. Will carry at least a sterile pad and bandage in future.
Cleaned the grit out when i got home with antiseptic wash and a toothbrush
Thing is, i'm not entirely sure what I would have done if I or someone had broken a collar bone or something, so I'm up for learning.
Will try very hard to get to Bletchley on Friday.
Rob.
Thanks again to Dr Andrew and his able assistant Nurse Smegger.
p.s. don't let me eat swiss roll again , nice though it was, sends me hyper
