Newbie says 'Hi!'
Hi all!
Welcome to my 1st post!
Cheers for letting me tag onto your ride on Sunday. I was the weirdo at the back with the rattley bike!
Had to dissapear after the rollacoaster as I'd accidently brought the girlfriends' car keys out with me. I'd been riding since 9:30, so was pretty pooped by then anyway.
So, thanks for the warm welcome, and I'll see if I can make this Sunday.
Stockgrove café wasn't it?

Re: Newbie says 'Hi!'
Won't be able to make the pub this week I'm afraid, but certainly on for Sunday, if I can figure out a way of squeezing my bike into the car. - call me lazy, but a 9am cycle from monkston to stockgrove won't convince me to get out of bed!
What's the riding like over that way? not riden over there before.
Two 'thumbs up' to the rollacoaster by the way. That was a hoot!

Re: Newbie says 'Hi!'
There is a bridleway that runs from Monkston directly to the woods (bottom of puke hill to be precise) so no excuses Steve.
P.S. If you decide to do this route then I am in way responsible for any punctures from hedge row clippings once over the railway!

I think that's the route I took last weekend actually... Goes through Wavendon, up and across the tracks, and down into an narrow overgrown path (stingers got me good ). Spits you out right at the bottom of the Woods.
Still a bit of a way to Stockgrove after that tho isn't it? Ok, maybe I'm just being a wuss, but any effort at that time in the morning is sooo hard

Don't think I'll be able to make it back from Northampton in time, but I may well give it a go.
Which car park, the church hill one, or the sandy lane one?
