Sunday 15th July
Ello,
I was wondering if the new riders would like to come out with me on Sunday,I'm hoping to do a skills session at the start of the ride, going over riding postions, braking, downhill sections and some other bits. Then we'll go out on the trail and pratice what you've hopefully learnt.
If you are intrested then please let me know.
I'm looking to start at 10am sharp and run it in and around the car park area.
With the ride starting from 11.

Re: Sunday 15th July
This is open to anyone not just new people. Long term, we could do this at 9 for an hour and then start to ride at ten? Nath, Jim and I could take it in turns to lead each session as there still will be people riding at 8 and at 9 for a fast burn. Let me know what you think.

Re: Sunday 15th July
I haven't ridden with you guys before, but I'm very interested in the skills session.
I should be able to make it out this Sunday.

Re: Sunday 15th July
I thought a few more of you might have been comming up on the club ride to the Peak District this Sunday for some real chalenging Mountain Biking. There is some great natural trails up here, looks like its just the A-team again. Enjoy your skills training session, its good to encourage some new riders to come along, I think I was a new rider once

Is anyone still riding Woburn this Sunday? If so, what time are you meeting?

Re: Sunday 15th July
I'll still be riding and I can still guide people around but I can't do the skills bit yet as I need to sort out my insurance.
Re: Sunday 15th July
sfJim, what time are you leading from ? Can be there for anytime.
Would like to try and get 3 or 4 hours in the saddle in my quest for bike fitness. Need to get trail fit before I dare join the awayday crowd on some weekend jaunts.
Neff - if you're coming I'm bringing those pedals for ya and a left-handed 15mm spanner.

Re: Sunday 15th July
Just wanted to say thanks to jim for leading the 'slower' ride today.
I really enjoyed it and felt like I learned a fair bit too.
Was good to get out in the fresh air, ride some nice trails and meet some really nice people.
I'm looking forward to coming out again with you guys in the near future.
