Llandegla 15th September?
Anyone fancy Llandegla on Saturday 15th September?
As there's a few of us doing the Merida at Ruthin on the Sunday it maybe worth visiting Llandegla the day before.
Even if you not doing the Merida event its still free camping isn't it so make a weekend of it

I don't have any body armour. Can I knock something up from bubble
wrap and old washing up bottles.
Or just close my eyes and pray for the best as usual.

I should be camping unless the weather is really foul in which case I will stay at my brothers:D
Ive signed up for the merida(50km) so will be doing that what ever the weather.

Hang fire,as i might not be going...
I've either fractured my shoulder and/or ruptured the ligaments as well.
Got to see the Bones Doc on Thurs!
And thats the reason you wear body armour!!!

Re: Llandegla 15th September?
Funny thing is I can't remember seeing the other riders go past me? But I remember Paul asking me if I was Ok.
Think I might have been knocked out for a bit!

Re: Llandegla 15th September?
Ouch I know how that feels!
When I knocked myself out, I phoned the wife for a pick-up. She said to the kids 'I think Daddies banged his head really hard because he just called my darling!'.
I have no memory of the event whatsoever. All I remember is phoning her for the pick-up and being told 'Stop calling me! I'm on my way. That's now the 7th time you've called me!'. I guess your body goes into some kind of auto-pilot.
Then my Dad turned up! And I've no memory of calling him either!
