Yet Another Newbie!!!

Hi all.

Just got a bike through the C2W scheme at my work. Don't know much about bikes, but a few lads I know who are told me it was decent spec. It's a Carerra Vengeance, the one that was 670 down to 400 at Halfords. Is this a good starter?

Anyway, done a few laps round caldecotte yesterday just to get used to gearing etc and found it good. I'd be much more interested in riding some trails, off road stuff etc.

Any tips / advice would be great. Hopefully see you out there soon.

here's a good tip : come out riding with us on Sunday we meet a 10 o'clock

at the top of Church Road in the car park

we're a good bunch of peeps and we don't bite like some clubs

Don't forget your skid lid
