Hi folks.

It's that time of year when the family start saying "what do you want for xmas?", so I'm trying to think of stuff I might like. I've noticed over on the STW forum that a few people recently have had some training with a company called UKBikeSkills around our local Woburn trails. I've also spotted a few people out on a Sunday morning that look like they're having some kind of tuition?

Anyone got any experience of this? I've been mountain biking for over 20 years with the occasional bit of racing thrown in here and there but I'm sure there's always new stuff to learn. Specifically I have a bit of a phobia of drops or anything that involves my wheels leaving the ground, although I don't really have any desire to get into jumping or busting myself up.

Anyone here done any MTB skills courses? Worthwhile? Would appreciate your experiences.

Ta!

Try Get Moutain Biking - based around this area and are probably they people you've seen up at the woods on some sundays..

Nath used to do some guiding with them and Helen is really nice. Their courses get good reveiws (especially for the ladies) with people travelling from the peak district down to here for the day..

Courses for all levels, different locations, gift vouchers, the lot...

Thanks, will take a look. A voucher might make an ideal present idea for someone.

If anyone has any first hand experience, let me know. Still not 100% sure whether I'd enjoy something like this...
