Gav and I did this last year- a good long ride, none of those long Welsh hills, but still a fair bit of climbing..

Anyone doing this one?

If the climbing's not as hard as Wales I may be tempted to go for the 65K.

I'll have a think on it.

Fizz – did you do the 100k?

How long in the saddle would that be?

I think it was only 2 distances last year and we did the longer 75km - bit of a warm up for the Brecon Beast 100.. not warm enough as it turns out.

I think we did 4 hours riding time - it was a really hot day so we stopped for ice creams at the post office.

bit of bridleways through fields, forests and littler connecting roads..

Sounds good, although not sure what distance to go for

It's a lovely ride Guys.

Only a very few slight ups and a good one to have a go at if you're thinking of progressing from the 50k merida's up to the 75/100k mark.

The ice creams were well placed at around 45/50k

So, who is doing the 121k option!

From what I remeber the drive in is also the cyclists' route out - if you are arriving after 9am watch out for people coming the other way!

Maybe an idea to get there before the first riders head out then

Even managed to beat Fizz up some of the climbs

Well done Martin too for stepping up the distance - sorry we missed you at the end..

It was a great day. The singletrack was dry and fast and loads of it.

I hurt now.

I had to stretch on the bike if I had got off I would of properly cramped up.

Does anyone know how to stretch the back and front of the leg at the same time?
