TRIP BACK TO PEAKS

The weather was sooooooo bad in The Peaks I thought it would be good to try a second trip there this year.

For those of you who haven`t been it is a real challenge in both climbing and descending particularly on big rocks. Our last windswept/wet dreary day had to be cut short so hopefully the following trip will be a little drier.

Suggestions please as to the best time to do it, but be good perhaps to add it in September or October?

Any time in October would be good for me

I have an idea for a ride that would start with the last section we missed from the last ride

I should be ok for all of October other than the first weekend (6th 7th) as I will have just got back from Spain

Sounds good to me, can someone bring some shower gel and a Radar key this time LOL

Count me in. I didn't quite get enough of being cold wet and miserable
the last time.

Ditto with Darren about the timing as doing the 3 Counties Challenge the week before so will have Finley the weekend of 6/7 th October

The general consensus is that we should return to The Peaks on Sunday 14 October.

If everyone would like to put that in their diaries we`ll do a similar ride to before but as Graham suggests start off in a different direction.

If we meet at Ladybower Reservoir as before at 10, with a view to start at 10.30 we will endeavour to do a figure of eight taking in a lunch time stop.

My only reservation concerning this ride is that we may have a road ride booked for the previous weekend in the Peaks also - watch this space.....
