Stockgrove park
Guys, just a heads up.
The area which surrounds the cafe at Stockgrove, funnily enough named ‘Stockgrove Country Park’ is out of bounds for all bikes. The only bridleway (bikes are only legally allowed on bridleways and byways) is the track that runs from the A5, through the farm, down to the white gate, and then straight along the bridleway and up the track to thr right into the smallish car park off the road.
We are not permitted to turn left through the gate and turn left anywhere along the bridleway. Obviously if you decide to ride in there outside of the cyclone rides on a Sunday from 10:00 – 12:00 then that’s entirely up to you, but can I ask when we ride on a Sunday we stick to the approved areas.
Winge over………..ta

Re: Stockgrove park
Apologies to all last Sunday no one's fault but mine. . .
In repentance (?) I am doing my MIAS qualification with Jim at Afan next weekend. There are some spaces left. £199 plus you will need to get first aid qualified if you ever instruct.
Check out www.afan-forest-bike-hire.co.uk for more details.

Re: Stockgrove park
Guys, just a reminder.........
If you ride in Stockgrove Park Woods (yes, the bits you are not allowed to ride!) on a Sunday, please can I ask you not to wear your CYCLONE tops and advertise the fact that you ride with our club.
I don't care where you ride..........but if you get stopped wearing our Jerseys, ita gonna be tough to talk your way out of who you are !!

Re: Stockgrove park
Who do you think........thought 'he' would've learnt the first time !
For all those with small memories, this is the only area in STOCKGROVE PARK you are allowed to ride in:
http://www.greensandtrust.org/pdfs/oakWoodMap.pdf
As I said, I don't care where anyone rides, but if you are advertising CYCLONE MTB Club all over your chest, best stick to the Bridle Ways.......or give the shirt back.
Rant over.

Nath
At the bottom of the map of permissable areas it says 'Permit required'.
Does the Cyclone membership cover this? I.e. is it part of the Brickhill wood pass?

Re: Stockgrove park
Yes your membership covers the cost of the pass. Please remember to
take your club membership card with you when riding so you can display
it if asked by a whinger/ranger !
Or else say your with MK road club or the Buzzards !
Only kidding
