Re: Easter weekend Away
Put me on list for this one. I am combining this trip with a visit to the Parents (North Wales) but will still want to stay with the Cyclone crew for all that off topic discussion.

Re: Easter weekend Away
Nath,
Both me and Sandra are up for this, is it still going ahead?
If so, do we have any idea of cost yet?

APRIL BANK HOLIDAY WALES TRIP
Thanks Nath
And thanx to everyone showing interest in Welsh trip.
It is planned that we stay in the accomodation for the duration and ride at
1. Brechfa Forest
2. Nant-y-Arian
3. Machynlleth
I have ridden at Nant & Mach (the latter having one of the best downhills in the country) Nant offering some superb flowing singletrack.
Once I have finalised the `best` place to stay I will post another message. In the meantime let me know if you wish to come and call me / text me on any of my numbers.
And watch this space for finalised details for Cannock. 25 February 2007.
CHEERS!!

UPDATE ON EASTER W~E.
*************STOP PRESS**********************
I have just booked the accomodation in Machynlleth which in the form of a bunkhouse in the centre of town!
There are limited spaces for the weekend so it will have to be a first come, first served. I know that some people may not be staying with us `officially` so it will be great to meet up in Mach for drinks/`tucker`, etc.
We have the option of riding at Brechfa on the Friday or doing the ride on the Monday but at this stage I would suggest that we put this ride on hold and ride the `new` trail at Coed-y-Brenin, called the Trawllch Trail. Failing that there is also the option of riding the Penmaccho Trail and/or more of the Mach trails in Machynlleth.
Mach is ideally located for the Cli-Max Trail and the excellent routes at Nant-y-Arian that we can do on the other days.
Accomodation will be on a bunk-bed basis @£45 pp for 3 nights.
Arr. Fri
Fri/Sat/Sun
Dpt. Mon
Forward your cheques to me at
Hapago
15 Pyxe Court
Walton Park
Milton Keynes
MK7 7HR
Chq payable to `Cyclone MTB Club`
Thanx 2 everyone! Here`s to a fab W~E!!

Gav, I know Linda was one of the first to show interest, and I'm not sure if she checks the forum that often. So stick her down for a defo.

Re: Easter weekend Away
Looks like this could be a very popular trip!
Along with the `unofficial` bods looks like it could be 15 and counting.
Currently looking into expanding accomodation, and may book somewhere else that holds more bods!!!

Now that the entertainment is organised for Saturday night (nice one Fizz), what is the plan, are we riding Friday? Where/when are we meeting?
I assume, as its a bunkhouse that we need to take food (and beer) with us
