MTB-Marathon series
Looks like it might be the end for the much loved Marathons:
"MTB-Marathon series and it has been a month of uncertainty of what the future is going to bring for the series.
After three years of supporting the series Chain Reaction Cycles has moved on to other things currently leaving the series without a title sponsor and because of that without a clear future
All three events will be at least double headers but for 2013 with a new running order of activities over the weekend. Things will kick off with the MTB-Marathons (still 3-4 courses to choose from) on Saturday morning (so not on Sunday as it has been in the past)."...
How is that going to work, no one can get there for Saturday morning...don't think there is going to be 1000+ riders next year, a few local guys may be.
