Google maps with cyclone trails overlay

Was messing about with Google maps the other day and had an idea to make this:

Would there be any interest in having something like this for the club, with a database of all the various trails? I'd imagine it's probably not the sort of thing we'd want to make publicly available on the web, but just wondered if it was of any use as a members-only tool? I could probably incorporate an semi-transparent OS overlay too - although I'm not sure whether that would infringe copyright rules (although presumably not an issue if it's not publicy viewable).

i think this is a good idea - I tried something similar last year but couldnt quite make it work like you have.
