Swinley Forest - Sunday 11 March - Day Trip

Sorry its a bit late, but just wanted to confirm the trip to Swinley on Sunday.

I shall bring some details with me Club Night (6/3/12) but the plan is ride Swinley a week Sunday.

Our local guide Tim Muir guided for us at Christmas and is vey knowledgeable; so hopefully we may see some `new` stuff!

Often we park at Berkshire Health & Racquets Club opposite the main Swinley car park, that way its free, easy parking and perhaps safer. But you can still park in the Forest. There is a cafe on site so food and drink is catered for.

If you haven't been before its a fab place to ride and has some brilliant singletrack as well as something called The Labywrinth!

I raced there last weekend in the first Gorrick race. The course included the labyrinth which is awesome at race speed. As it happens the 2nd Gorrick race is on the 11th, more or less same place just a bit further over to the west of the wood. Some of you faster guys ought to enter as your going to be down there anyway. If not come over and cheer me on in the Grand Vets race off at 11:03, I'll be, hopefully, somewhere mid field.

swinley was realy bizy and i did not see any one of us dwon there ..
but on a good note i had one of my best ride this year the sun was out and the trails was lovely and dry
