JUST TO MENTION THAT WE HAVE ARRANGED A GUIDED RIDE FOR sunday 22 april AT `SWINLEY`.

TIM MUIR, A LOCAL CYCLIST & PART TIME MEMBER OF "THE TROLLS" WILL BE TAKING US ON AN EXPEDITION THROUGH THE FANTASTIC FOREST. A LOT OF YOU HAVE BEEN BEFORE BUT THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A BESPOKE RIDE.

THE RIDE IS PUBLISHED ON THE CYCLONE CALENDAR BUT THE DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS;

START TIME: 10 A.M

MORNING RIDE FOLLOWED BY TEA / CAKE AT THE LOOKOUT.

QUICK AFTER LUNCH JAUNT. DINNER FOLLOWS.

sorry i cant make it tomorrow - ran a circuits training class everyday this week and I am now battered! Sorry (for being such a girl)

Gwenda and I had a great day out. A big thank you to Tim for his guiding and for caring for our fallen rider.
Lots of smiles were had despite the rain, hail and mud.

Virgil, has your ankle doing?

Martin, my badly sprained ankle turned out to be broken. After driving home Sunday and going to work Monday, I went to A&E Monday night after my ankle turned a funny colour. My little fall broke my outer ankle bone into three pieces.

I was supposed to have it pinned and plated today, but it was postponed due lack of room in the OR. I should see if I can get digital copies of the before and after X-rays and post them on here.

Thanks to everyone for helping me out with shoulders to lean on, pushes up hills, drugs to ease the pain and moral support. A special thanks to Tim for initially leading the group, but also for looking after me and administering the all-important initial first-aid.

And thanks to Gilly for pointing out that i'm in the lead for the FUBAR award
