trip to wales Aug bank holiday - people needed to lead rides
Hey all,
Been thinking and it has occured to me that the group being as big as it is (about 20 riders) we need a few volunteers to lead rides.
Whether its a slow, medium or fast pace, we need people who will do it as not fair to rely on the normal leaders for the whole 3 days. Even if people dont particularly feel confident in leading a ride on their own, if there are a few in a group who can liase then all good.
Share your ideas guys, or please volunteer to lend a hand. Make it a good trip for all involved.
Thanks, Gilly

Happy to put my name forwards Gilly, on the understanding that I might not be leading from the Front.
Being as the routes are pretty much set, other than perhaps linking one with another at some junction, I see it less as a navigational challenge. More of someone to keep an eye out for missing legs, arms, heads etc.
Does that sound reasonable ?
Bert.

Don't mind riding at the front for a while, but like filthy says all the trails are marked out so there's not much to do other than make sure all are present and alive.
Anyone arriving early enough to ride on Friday? I think Dave and I are setting off Friday morning.
