Fri 26th-Mon 29th of August - North Wales Trails

The club is organising a trip to North Wales to ride the trails at Llandegla and Betws y Coed (Penmachno and The Marin). I will look to book camping/B&B/cottage hire accommodation depending on numbers and preferences. Please let me know if you are interested.

As soon as I have 6 deposits of £20 (Campers £5) I shall go ahead and start booking. (The sooner I have numbers the better accommodation I can bag). Obviously you will get your deposits back if we don't get enough demand.

Is it worth sending out a mailshot to members as not everyone looks at the forum regularly

i have just managed to negotiate a Friday/Saturday away. Just need to double check i can get the time off at work. Would also look to camp the Friday night. See you Tuesday?

All B & B rooms are en suite and currently all 4 still available...

So Get your wallets out Guys (and Girls), as the B & B want payment apon booking, which is where our lovely Caroline steps in.

Its gonna be a good turn out by looks of it !!

B & B rooms are as follows

Bed and Breakfast
En-suite double/twin/triple/family room per person per night

Room only ( not self-catering ) £22

With farmhouse continental breakfast £28

(Single occupancy £10 extra)

Children under 14 by special arrangement. Well behaved dogs by arrangement only


Minimum 2 night stay applies to all bookings for bank holiday weekends

No single rooms im afraid,
Rooms as follows...

Rm 1 : one double and two single beds
Rm 2 : One double
Rm 3 : One double and one single bed
Rm 4 : one double and two single beds.

Guess it would be cheaper to share with someone but depends on if you want too ?

Doesnt worry me sharing. Only be in the room to shower and sleep

Clubnight is from 8pm but most people arrive a bit later that that

Camping on site too... will gladly add to the order if you give us your well earned pennies... £8 per person per night..

Whats the name of the proposed B&B.

If the numbers wanting accommodation are high enough wouldn't getting a cottage be better value?? Just a thought

thinking of coming along camping. What is the plan in terms of itinerary? Riding Friday, Saturday and Sunday? Just trying to plan things in case of not being able to make it on the Friday .

Not sure there are any plans as such, as yet. Best check with Gav or mark as they know the area and whats going on (i think )

However you can book camping for one night minimum so just let me know when you have decided .

I'd like to come up for the Friday and Saturday, just staying Friday night (I'll camp). I've got the ok from my other half but not sure yet what I'll be doing work wise and therefore whether I'll be able to get the Friday off. I'll do all I can to be there though.
