Guide required for Saturday
Sup Cycloners, some of the guys from Epping Forest were wondering if there is anyone who wouldn't mind showing them around the Woburn trails this coming Saturday 15th? I'm sure they'd love to return the favour with a potential club ride. I'd love too, but they refused to pay for my flight !
Anyone interested? Jim / Jimmer / Dazzler / Aaron ?
They are a good bunch of lads and lasses, and last time I showed them round we had a blast. [Just watch out for Steve on his singlespeed......his speed is evil !!]
Any takers? I'm sure a brew and a bacon sarnie would be up for the winner

Re: Guide required for Saturday
Thanks for posting up Nathan.
The weather is going to be good, very good this weekend.
We arrive in Woburn @ 10ish .... so saddled up ready to depart for 10:30.
We are a fun to ride with - good banter
We promise not to hold up the lead rider
Lead rider (he or she) is allowed to loose riders that can't keep up to ensure the ride flows
.. Ah, and yes a brew, a bacon sarnie is up for grabs
If additional info is required, please email or FB me @ ade_adeyemi@hotmail.com

Re: Guide required for Saturday
If you don’t receive any better offers I can meet you at 10am and show you around for an hour or so, as need to be home by 11.30ish.
Alternatively you can all get out of bed earlier and join me for an 8am start

@ Jase:
Thanks mate ... I'd love to get there earlier but have to pick up the others
Hopefully you'll enjoy the ride / our company that U'll hang out with us longer and blow the cup final
FYI, most riders are drinving down but some are coming over by train (fingers crossed BR is running a good service).
We'll be at the Sandy lane car park for 10AM and aiming to start riding 10:15ish.
How will I know U ....?
Me: I standout .... just look out for a black guy on a Whyte 46 or Trex Remedy 8 surrounded by 7 hard charging gladiators
I can't wait .....

Re: Guide required for Saturday
Wish I was watching the cup final…………………
Will be riding a black/white Cotic.
Do the people riding from the station know how to get to Sandy Lane from the MK side of the woods or do they need ‘collecting’ from Bow Brickhill?
P.S. Actually, glad I’m not watching the cup final

I'll be in cellphone contact .... but guessing it shouldn't be that difficult for them to make their way to Sandy lane eh!

Got it now ..... thanks Nathan.
Meeting place is at the top of Church Road, in Woburn Sands village (not the one in Bow Brickhill village).

Re: Guide required for Saturday
Jase, many thanks for showing us around.
As you saw, we came prepared to more DH and jumps than XC so everyone really enjoyed the jump section especially after that 'uber' climb which took it's toll on 'Carbon Dave the mountain goat hiumself.
Some crashes but nothing major and we all left with big grins, smiles.
We're green with envy, you've got such good trails close to your door step .. Plan is to come join you for one of your Sunday rides soon.
BTW, if you fancy a change of local trails, do come visit us at Epping Forest ... it's more XC and you'll love it on you singlespeed.
Again, thanks for taking time to show us around ... l8r.
