Hello Ade

Wish I could, but have to work Crying or Very sad

A number of us met up yesterday and had a great time. It's very pleasant going up there at the moment. Suprisingly grippy and you probably won't even get your bike dirty Very Happy

Just follow the tyre tracks. There are plenty of them.

Hi Ade,

welcome to the forum! With the current weather, there should be plenty of snow to play with in woods tomorrow Smile. Unfortunately I should be at work tomorrow :S, but there is bound to be someone adventurous heading up there with the day off! The club still meets in the woods every Sunday and you are more than welcome if you want to come along. Nathan is now off sunning himself in LA, but often pops up on this forum from time to time (perhaps we should go out there and join him riding the Californian trails).

Never did make it down to Woburn due to bad weather - snow and traffic conditions etc Sad
I managed a MTB ride in Epping Forest but left after 1 hour as trails was covered in slush, mud and fallen trees - Not a good combination on a single track Sad

Are you planning a post Xmas / boxing day group ride this Sunday please?

Seriously though, I managed to come off the bike last Saturday and land on a rather sharp stick.....am now the owner of a 2" deep hole in my leg that is too deep to stitch !

This is 2ft of sterile strip that they managed to pack in the hole......
