Cannock Chase Trip-Saturday 31st January

Hi All,

Looks like it will be a 10am start to the ride. I'm sure we can loop back to the shop for 11.

Ok, I have spoken to our guide for the ride Nick Rawle and arranged to meet for 1000 at the place Nath suggested above.

I'm going to get there for 0940 to give me time to get ready so we can leave promptly for an hour loop. We'll come back again at 1100 to pickup the stragglers.

The conditions are SOFT and trailtrakers / mud tyres are recommended.

The 10am start sounds better. I think its common sense that everyone tries to get there for 10 we will all see a lot more of Cannock without two visits to the carpark!

I will be traveling up from Hemel I will have space for 1 more in my car if anyone wants a lift

I am keen for Cannock tomorrow. Aiming to be at the shop for your 10am start although I'm at the mercy of our beloved national rail... so maybe there in time for lunch!

Hey Daz - are you Hemel, as in Hempstead? I'm starting from Woburn Sands and was going to jump on multiple trains to Cannock, but if there's still a space going and Woburn Sands isn't too much of a diversion for you, sharing a lift would be ace. Or suggest an alternative pick up place.

Had a geat time yesterday,but on the second loop of follow the dog Pete had a big off,managed to flag down a car, and got him a lift back to the trail centre, to cut a long story short,he,s o.k now that his leg is patched up (thanks to M.K. A&E) and soon he will be ready for action
