FS. Specialized Hotrock 24 Boys

Hi All,

Before I try ebay I thought I'd see if anybody local was interested in the following:

For sale is my son’s Specialized Hotrock 24 Mountain Bike.

This bike is fantastic! My son has ridden it for nearly 3 years now and has loved every minute of it. He has had it since his seventh birthday, when it was slightly too big for him. He could probably get another year out of it, but has set his heart on a new one. It has a few battle scars here and there but has been VERY well looked after, i.e., regularly cleaned and serviced. I am a keen biker (if not as regular as I'd like) so know how important this is. I would still describe the overall condition as excellent.

Anyway, spec as follows:

Specialized Hotrock 11” frame - A1 aluminium tubing, black with red flames
DMR rear chainstay protector
RST Capa C6 forks with disc mounts
Silver 24” wheels with quick release skewers (upgrade)
Black ‘V’ brakes (rear caliper and cable replaced end Sept ‘08 during service at Roy Pink's)
Shimano front gear mech (triple ring)
Shimano ‘Tourney’ rear mech (7 speed cassette)
Quick release seat clamp
Plastic platform pedals (shin friendly!)

There is slight damage to the top of the brake levers , along with the tips of the crank arms (same applies). On getting the bike, I also had the seatpost shortened slightly to allow the seat to drop further.

This bike is not perfect and I will try and answer any questions you may have. Alternatively you are welcome to view the bike (subject to my very awkward shift pattern). I am South MK based.

PS. I also have a Mongoose Rockadile Girls 24" wheel MTB for sale, but I haven't decided how much I want for it yet. Excellent condition and open to offers!!
