First off let me start by saying hello. I've been riding Woburn woods, or Bow Brickhill/Aspley Heath woods (take your pick) for the past year, I know the area pretty well and know countless tracks but I'm sure there's more about I don't know about. In a previous post it mentions the Trek trail and the moat, could someone tell me where these are? I know trying to explain where somewhere is can be difficult due to it's topography but does anoyone know where either the Trek trail or the moat is? I'll put a picture up I was e-mailed a while ago, it might help some other find some routes they don't know about. There's a few more trails I know that aren't on here.

I'll have a go at describing where the moat is first (and try not to use turn left at the big tree sort of instructions!)
From the car park where we all meet, head towrds the trail marked "sandy lane singletrack" on your map. Turn right at this cross roads (away from the start of the above trail) 2-300 metres on the right hand side is a small track that leads to the valley floor at "The Knoll". Ride roughly half way along the valley floor to a track on the left hand side that takes you up to the top of "High and Dry". It will have a big muddy puddle at the start of this track which never seems to dry up. At the top is a wooden post (it will be on the left as you come up the climb). Turn left (away from high and dry). 2-300 metres up this wide path, on the LHS, will be the start to The Moat. It's quite tricky to spot and doesn't look like much when you first look at it but if you come to an obvious path off to the left you've gone too far. The start to the moat is basically a big ditch. It's the other side to it that's the fun bit!
The Trek trail is near Stockgrove Park. Turn left out of the cafe car park, up the hill. After the road bears left at the top you'll see 2 white pillars in front of you as the road bears right. Through the pillars and follow the road down a hill. As soon as the road turns to more loose stuff, look right for a post. Follow this trail. If memory serves me right there is a tricky right hand turn from this path onto another. It's not easy to describe so I shan't. Suffice to say it is a sharp 90° corner. If you get it right this new path will bring you down a looping, twisty section down to a bridleway. Turn left. 150metres (or thereabouts) up this trail will be 2 small posts on the right. That's the start of the Trek Trail. It will eventually bring you to a crossroads of bridleways. From this point you can go right to the fishing lake, left back to the start or straight on back to the road with the white pillars.
It's been a while since I did the Trek trail. The easiest thing to do is meet up with the guys at 1200 and see if anyone fancies a cafe ride!
Good luck

Nice one Paul, I'd like to say I know where it is now after that detalied explanation, but I can't, but at least I know where to ride around and look for it now. I'll have to join up with some people off here one weekend, hopefully some other riders will know some bits I don't as I normally do the same route every cycle.
The Trek trail will have to wait as I never go down that way on the bike, I tried cycling in Stockgrove a while ago, well, where I could anyway. The main Stockgrove park seemed to be off limits for bikes but a little birdy told me there's some good riding to be had down there.

Top instructions Paul.

You’re right about there not being much over in Stocky but going over that side does add a bit of mileage to your ride. As Paul mentioned if you go up past the fishing lakes this takes in a couple of climbs, one of which is probably the longest in the woods. You can then loop back towards the Café.

Just to confuse matters some of the riders (mostly the older generation!) refer to Ditches Singletrack as the Trek Trail!!!!!

The moat is difficult to find as its hidden over a lip.

Lost of trails that exist but aren't on that map.

I had a few maps posted here showing the Trek Trail:
https://cyclonembc.editboard.com/trail-information-f6/saturday-18th-november-t47.htm?sid=3c255f0c2c0863b12230e956034452e4

Trek Trail is the bendy trail at the bottom right part of the map, marked between 2 x Blue Dots. (GR: 911295). The interesting climb at around 11miles on the Elevation Chart is shortly after the Trek Trail, last for about 1.5k, can't remember the elevation gain, but pretty good. Starts at 895293 and finishes at 905305. Or should I say syarts at 90bpm and finises at 180bpm !!
