I do actually know who Rob is/was!
To my knowledge he's still missing in action. Went down somewhere near Afan September last year.

Re: robs still got a filthy habit.
It's true I'm back
Had a few gentle flat rides over the last couple of months, and got so I could just about pedal whilst out of the seat, so decided its time to push it a bit further on some rough.
So so so so so good to be back in the woods. Am a bit rusty, and what little muscle I had has all but disappeared. I got a right beasting on Sunday and it was a pretty gentle ride. Knee needed a bit of icing yesterday but am really chuffed that nothing gave way. A long waited confidence boost to my recovery
Really good to see you folks again and a new hello to Ben, Glen, Ken and Dave. Looking forwards to joining in rides and trips again.
Special thanks to Phil. supplying moral in buckets* when I got a bit knackered. ( I didn't throw up in the end m8 ).
* buckets - non metric unit of quantity. A universal standard of variable capacity.

Re: robs still got a filthy habit.
Cheers Si.
Not that you did see much of me... ur like a greased ferret down a drainpipe on that new bike of yours. Didn't spot the mirrors on it, thats the only way you would have seen me.
Did you weigh the old one in for scrap ? Would probably have paid for the new one with the price of metal these days.
Bert.
