Re: Aston hill racing...
Hey Si,
New bike I see very nice too!
Well to explain it a bit better It more of a traditional thig that always happened at the hill. it involves two people (like a dual race) going round the bombholes taking sneaky lines to beat you opponent, its more of a fun thing but the atmosphere is lighting. Oh no drops or anything hard just fun ,and you make it as hard as you want....
I know me explaining it makes it sound as dull as dish water, but it really is a scream.
We are holding a DH race in September down the Ultimate pursuits track, few drops and steep section, I think you would enjoy it though. In my opinion its the best track on the hill.

Re: Aston hill racing...
Oooh, lets get a team together for the relay races... they sound fun
"For the uninitiated amongst you, the race consists of two laps (one short, one even shorter), around the Bombholes. Each rider takes it in turn to race the clock and if you fancy another go then a pound or two will see you on the start line again. The event is suitable for all ages, skill levels and rider types and is a great event to bring along riding buddies who would never normally visit Aston Hill."
Sunday 10th of August - who else is about?
good luck with the Mega Avalanche guys - loopy!
