Sunday morning... Empty Sunday morning...

Post  Guest 2006-10-27, 13:12

Hi Folks,

Me and Andy are meeting at 8am on Sunday for a fast paced, no stopping 2 hour ride before we meet up with the club at 10. If any of you fancy joining us, then you are very welcome. Just be aware that the ride is gonna be considerably harder than the usual club ride! Hope to see a few more of you at the usual meeting place....

Sunday morning... Empty What about a regular 8:00 am slot......

Post  CrashBoy 2006-10-28, 06:42

Would be good to make this a regular slot, for those in the club who are looking for a faster, more challenging ride. It may also encourage other members whose fitness is improving to try the fast ride.

Can't make this week or next, but will hope to see you all in a couple of weeks.

Is it regular Paul, quite a few (well 3 or 4) start off at 8. Just post up when you fancy it.

Good ride today guys, but when most of you left and I carried on with Mike, Phil, Simon & Nick, my rear mech snapped off coming up Puke Hill! I was not a happy bunny. Nick single-speeded it for me, cheers Nick, and I limped my way back to the car pack. Simon then took me to Phil Corleys where a replacement hanger was a mere £9. Then Simon took me all the way home. So a big thank you Simon for all your help matey, much appreciated.

Hi Smegger (I wonder about the origin of that peculiar name),

Well, he made me suffer, but I survived.

I am looking 4ward to more suffering (on technical singletracks, preferably downhill:-) next Sunday. Until then

Happy trails
