There will be a ride this week as Swampy has said he will be up but Nick and I are riding around the Chilterns on Wednesday night starting at 5. We are meeting in Princes Risborough.

As a newbie to Weds evenings - what time does everyone meet at the car park and what time do you normally leave? Trying to get back from London in time! Eoin

Was my 1st Wednesday night last week. I'm gonna try and get there for 18:15 so I'm ready to go by 18:30. Not sure what time the ride officially starts tho.

Think we set off at about 18:45 last week.

Great ride last week. Really enjoyed it. Pace was nice and quick, and the terrain was a good mix. Got myself a camelback for this week, so shouldn't suffer as much

I'll be up there now with a few of the boys from 5.30 but I will be in the car park at the top of church road at 6.30 so I can meet everyone. It might be wet. . .

They'll be higher than mine Some theiving scrote has broken into my house today , wrecked both my back doors and stolen my Scott amongst other things.
I doubt i'll be riding, got to get a new patio door and kitchen door sorted.

So if any hears of a Scott Elite Racing for sale please let me know.

Where did everyone get to last night? One minute there were people behind me and the next minute nothing. It took me bloody ages to find my way back out!! in fact it was dark when I reached the car park and I had to ride back to Willen. I ended up clocking 28 miles!!
Anyhoo.. you live and learn so I won't be riding at the front any more.

No news on the cock lobster yet tbh, it's a good job it hadn't arrived , cos that would have been the first bike on my pile, and the one that would have gone. Not wanting delivery of it now 'till i've re-assessed my security arrangements.
Don't get much help from Merlin though , rumour had it that they were good to deal with, but they are most reluctant to say how the build is going. All I get is "we'll phone you when its ready to ship".

PS it's the final staw of living in Northampton for me, so i'm selling up and moving out. In the very short time i've been biking with cyclone i've never had so much varied biking action in one location, and i've never met so many great people in such a small time....
So i'm looking to be moving closer to the woods...
So if u have any local papers with housing ads in, i'd be greatful for them.
House prices are a shocker compared to Northampton, but I can see why.
