SHAVED LEGS BRIGADE!
I am planning a trip on the Dark Side for those of you who wish to pound the hard stuff!
I was planning to do it this Saturday (28.07.07) if anyone is interested......
It won`t be an "epic" like most of the rides I appear to organise so let me know your thoughts! If this is short notice suggestions pleeeease........
bg
PS. Ride would be in Milton Keynes not Nort West!

Re: SHAVED LEGS BRIGADE!
Dude, how's the Wild Wales ride looking - are you still planning on doing it? I have been alternating my MTB'ing and road riding each Sunday and doing road hill climbs mid week. I am up to a comfortable 70 mile ride distance at an average of 15 mph but I reckon it'll be too hilly for me this year. Don't even know if there are places left.

Do you live in Stony , Tom because i think I might have seen you on Monday , riding to Silverstone. Maybe we can find a middle ground to start from

Re: SHAVED LEGS BRIGADE!
I can start at any time and don't mind where I meet, its all training miles. I suspect Big Gav wants to ride up Church Street , Bow Brickhill and probably Ivinghoe Beacon as he lives in Walton Hall

Re: SHAVED LEGS BRIGADE!
Big Gav has just texted to say that he is working so can't go but I'm still up for it this afternoon, if anyone's game, we could ride from the North Bucks Club house at 13:30pm
Harley Hall (it's not as grand as it sounds!) is located near the junction of V10 (Brickhill Street) and H9 (Groveway), close to the Open University campus

Guys, won't be able to make this I'm afraid.
Am supposed to be going to Cyprus diving next week and have just discovered my kit doesn't work quite as planned!
Panic!

I'll have the Speedos, as long as the skiddies have been washed out.
All sorted now, although didn't manage to get out today.

Re: SHAVED LEGS BRIGADE!
For those of you you who responded I`m sorry that I didn`t get back but had to work in the end and didn`t have access to the Internet!
However with all of us now having road bikes I thought I`d do things properly, by organising a road ride in the Peaks.
I was hoping to do a 40 - 50 mile loop, starting perhaps from the infamous " Cat & Fiddle " pub on the Buxton - Macclesfield road. I am on holiday in September but could arrange something for Sun 9. (This would `clash` with the Stockgrove Ride at Woburn.) Alternatively 7 or 14 October.
Let me know who is interested as it would be a great day out, and would be a good test of legs on the big climbs!!
Cheers!!
