I'm a naughty boy...
...
Look at my new toy! Yippee!
Big picture here: http://www.tomdavis.force9.co.uk/random/IMG_5354.JPG
Ooh, I feel so dirty (in a clean, on the road kind of way).
No prizes for guessing my taste in music either!
Girls; Imac or shaving for my legs? [1]
See you all Sunday.
Tom
[1] Not really - I'm a 'cool' hairy roadie, with my Endura baggies.

Re: I'm a naughty boy...
Oooh aero bars!
That's a whole level of complexity I can't even comprehend at the moment. Still not sure when I should use the hoods or drops.
Can't believe how fast they are though!

Re: I'm a naughty boy...
Well if we’re posting pics:
You’ll soon learn that baggies on a road bike are just wrong!
We’ll await your thread next week “What lycra shorts?”
Shortly followed by “How far up do I shave?”

Re: I'm a naughty boy...
I can only dream of such exotica.... this is the latest addition to my fleet. When we've sorted out a Bike2Work scheme I'll indulge myself.
I had my first outing with my local road riding club the other Sunday - 47 miles in the wind and rain. I only dropped off the pace in the last 10 miles or so - quite pleased for a first time out.

Re: I'm a naughty boy...
Since we're showing and telling:
I agree with Jase, Lycra is better but I prefer bib shorts - gives a little more coverage on the small of your back, stops the draughts
Hmmm obviously need more practice with posting pictures!!

Is it just me but... I glanced down the forum posts and with so many entries under 'I am a naughty boy' re: Road cycling it struck me a quite funny. It's like the pro riding scene at the moment...

It looks such a 'MAN GARAGE'. Attached carpet to the walls so you don't bang your door when you get out !!

Re: I'm a naughty boy...
Since you asked ...
... and this is where we went last summer ...
Col d'Izoard 2360m HC- 1200m climb over 26km (40deg C)
You can make out the road climbing right to left then hairpins over the col.

Re: I'm a naughty boy...
Wow!
I'm quite surprised at how many roadies have come out of the closet following my 'outing'.
;-)
Cheers guys! We'll have to have a club road ride sometime this summer. Maybe save it until I've learnt to change gear without wobbling!
