Rough Ride

I so wanted to do the 75km feel a bit shamed and wasted the weekend but I didn't have the legs. I so need to work on going on long rides! I should have stretched more at the start and drunk more.

Oh well I did get frustrated with the traffic-so many people didn't even try the climbs!!! I think I'll knock events like this on the head and I'll go to the Brecons and do it in my own time!

Well done to all a good weekend and it was good to ride another part of the country.

Dude it was tough what with the hills, ruts, tracks and speed sapping leg killing grass/moss trails.

I think you're being abit hard on yourself have you analysed the results?

Your time was 04:21:13 right? So you came in 86th out of 314 riders who did the 42km route, that's only 01:13:30 behind the fastest rider... and 03:05:55 ahead of the slowest.
