Pete -
Hey Guys,
Just to let you know, Pete is ok.
He has some cracked ribs, lots of grazes, a swollen knee and a thumping headace I guess - thankfully nothing more serious.
They wanted to keep him in hospital overnight, but he doesn't fit in a hospital bed!
It just makes that guy jumping without a helmet look very very stupid.
Thanks for all your help guiding the ambulance, blocking the route and providing a 10yr old space blanket We did the right thing.
Fizz.
got some pictures coming soon
PS. Matt/Nath, Pete signed up as member before Xmas - can you check that you've got the details.

OUCH!!!!
No wonder the poor bloke was weezing with 2 cracked ribs .Just go's to show you that wearing a helmet and other protection isn't such a bad thing!!!
Any idea's on when he can get back out with us?
Is his MRS gonna let him?
Pete if your reading this get well soon mate, and hope to see you in a couple of months once those ribs are fixed.
Next time try and land it backwheel first.

Firstly massive thanks to Fizz taking care of me yesterday and for checking up on me later in the day; Gavin for waiting at hospital for my wife Ingrid to arrive (dispite my insistance that he and fizz should leave), and to Stuart for ferrying my bike and car back home (sorry I was out of diesel!) and to others for the space blanket, blocking the trail and just being there.
Thank you all.
You will of course be seeing me again soon - I'm not sure when Ingrid will let me out on my own again! Checked the bike this morning - all seems OK so it down to my body to repair itself, helped by coffee and fresh muffins at the moment.
I always knew wearing a helmet was a good idea. Now looking at the broken pieces of my old helmet I know why - this could have been a lot worse. Looking on the bright side I can spend the next while picking out a new lid with no complaints from the management.
Jim - thanks for the tip, I really made an mess of that jump - I should probably work my way up before launching myself into the air off such a lump.
ps. Photos available on request - not for the squeamish.
Thank you all.

You've got to post them now you've typed that!!!
You had quite a few of us worried, espically when you started groaning and wheezing, and your eyes were rolling around.
I suppose it could have been worse tho.....you could have broken your P7,now that would have been tragic!!!
ACTUALLY I forgot to let you know, but i did get some footage of the crash here it is.

Nice war scars Pete you will heal quickly. At least you're not Richard Hammond! He hit the dirt at 288mph! With a turbo!

Ouch!
As Jeremy said last night, speed kills! Then Richard sunk in his seat!
Give me a shout about a new lid and any gear you need from Evans and I give you good discount as you're in the Hamster's league-eternal respect! (seriously)

Re: Pete -
Its like flogging a trying to get you lot to listen.
Here's my view on what happened:
Nath told Pete
Pete ended up
Fizz had all the to sort Pete.
Unfortunatley there is no of the incident.
Some of us were'nt there cos we were the night before.
Pete's missus won't let him out with Cyclone anymore
Fizz then came on here and it to everyone.
Nath told Andy to
If Andy doesn't get a grip he'll be
Off for some now, and perhaps some
