Charge Juicer Hi:
Would be super grateful if people could keep an eye out around Milton Keynes. Certainly I've never seen anyone else ride either of the Charge bikes around here and the Duster Ti I built up myself so would have a fairly unique blend of components. Give me a poke through the mesage board or on Facebook, or give TVP a ring (101) if you see anything.
Don't really want to leave my phone number up here.
Cheers,
Tom

Re: Stolen bikes
Yeah will keep an eye out Tom, sorry to hear your news.
The thieves are scumbags obviously but I'm always amazed where the bikes end up! Do they leave the area. Someone gullable or another scumbag buys they I suppose

Re: Stolen bikes
Forgot to ask Tom, how secure was your garage and were the bikes all chained up?
Would be good to know how determined and prepared thieves are getting these days.

Re: Stolen bikes
Garage was reasonably secure - there's not room in the back-alley to pull the door off, so they had to break in through a window and open the door from the inside. No protection other than that though. I'm not sure it would have helped as they broke into the house and took my brother's laptop and a couple of wallets ... figure they could have helped themselves to whatever keys they liked that way.
In fact, I think I'd prefer it that the bikes are easier to take so they don't have to break into the house! Can't believe I didn't wake up.

Re: Stolen bikes
Really sorry to hear about the break-in Tom.
Did you by any chance ever upload your rides onto something like Garmin Connect? I've a theory that bike thieves are using it to locate bikes....

Re: Stolen bikes
Cheers guys.
I do use Garmin Connect Kurt, but have marked my rides as private since the day I started using it. Good question though! They should be private by default if you ask me.
Cheers,
Tom
