Evening all,

I've just purchased a new GPS toy and wondered if anybody has routes from our Sunday rides, etc that I can get a copy of please.

Also, what websites do you use for mapping/converting, etc – all info/opinions greatly received.

Memory map is good.

I have a full version of V5 I think if you want it.....about 30gb all in though. It has 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 of GB plus Sat pics. I dont really use it anymore, its on 7 DVDs if you want it. Worth around £250.

Its yours for a brew and a slice of cake.

Memory map is great for off-road, that said I don't really use my copy any more either!

For drawing routes out, I tend to use either:
http://www.bikehike.co.uk/mapview.php
http://www.elsewhere.org/journal/gmaptogpx/
Routes from GMap to GPX tend to work better for me on my Garmin, but BikeHike is more convenient.

For mapping my routes after a ride, I use Garmin Connect (you don't need to have a Garmin as you can manually upload exported GPX files from most GPSes):
http://connect.garmin.com/
with the G-Fix plugin (here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fbeiifjiimghhaijicmdphhpockpbldc) for the Google Chrome browser, which switches the mapping from Bing to Google Maps. Bing maps and satellite photos are crappy in the UK.

Nath, that's an extremely generous offer, thank you. I'm not out this sunday, but shall be next, if you are?

Tom, thanks for the info on the websites.
