Re: Cyclone Cycling Jerseys...
Hi Brian,
I think there may be one or two tops still left in strange sizes from the last time we ordered club jerseys. I'll have an ask around and see if I can track them down. Getting a new run ordered, keeping track of who ordered what and collecting money is not a simple task, and requires a significant number to be ordered to make it viable. If there is a significant desire for new club jerseys then the idea can always be put to the committee.
What size top would you be looking for?

Re: Cyclone Cycling Jerseys...
Someone will have to lend you a top just for photographic purposes.
I think it was owayo that done the last lot of jerseys Im guessing they keep all the designs on files so just a matter of the minimum order

Are you accusing me of being a strange size?
Haha, Bike jerseys seem all over the place regarding size but I'm a 40-44" chest, which usually translates as XL or XXL.
With that said I prefer a bit snug round the top rather than too long in the body as at 5'6" I'm a bit of a shortass!

Re: Cyclone Cycling Jerseys...
I have managed to track down a couple of size medium short sleeve shirts if anyone is interested. Not sure about the fit, but it has been suggested they may be a little snug. I'll take a look what size I have when I get home.
I wan't part of ordering the last lot of jerseys, but a cursory look at Daz's link suggests that it would be ~£40 a shirt for an order of 10, and ~£30 a shirt for an order of 50 (correct me if I'm wrong). Plus you have to account for all the odd shirts we are left with when people order the wrong size, disappear without paying etc and it is no small amount up front for the club to stump up.
All not insurmountable, but there needs to be the demand first. Not sure there is enough demand to justify an order yet, then again with all the new faces around I could be wrong.

Re: Cyclone Cycling Jerseys...
Ok the situation as it stands at the mo is we have 2 meduim blue short sleeve & 1 small pink short sleeve left in stock.
We have no plans to order more at least for this year. The shirts we have at the moment have only been kicking about a couple of seasons and still look pretty current.
The basic problem is that to make it cost effective we have to order each size in a minimum of batchs of 10. I can't remember the exact cost of producing the last batch, I seem to remember it was around a grand? This being the case we have to have a pretty high demand and I'm guessing at present it just isn't quite there.
However as there a now a few new members maybe we could have a rethink after Christmas 2011 and look again.
The current shirt is our 3rd design so rest assured there will be more. Sorry for those of you who really want one. If I could ask you to wait a while longer we shall get some eventually however they will be a different different design to tempt more people to part with their wonger and keep costs down.

Re: Cyclone Cycling Jerseys...
Thanks for all of the responses. I didn't mean to cause such a fuss!
I would be willing to pay up front and I'd also help out with the organisation if it was needed.
Cheers,
B.
PS. I think I might have to try the pink one on, just to how much it makes me look like Davith from little britain

Doh - Cheers Gilly - this is what happens when enthusiasm overcomes the ability to read!
Ok - will save the cash for xmas! I dont think a small/medium regardless of colour (although I believe pink has a sliming affect!) will fit my more than ample frame
