Thursday Night Ride in Aspley Heath

Sorry, I meant to post ages ago about this:

I'm up for some evening rides in Aspley Heath, especially now that the weather is getting better.

Is anyone up for meeting up tomorrow evening (i.e. Thursday 5th May) at about 7pm in the normal place (i.e. car park at top of Church Lane) for a ride? I was thinking of riding for about 90mins. It will be getting dark when we finish, so lights will be required. In a few weeks, that won't be the case.

Anyway, let me know. Feel free to hijack this thread for future Thursday night rides. My phone is 0759 159 4135 for anyone who wants to text me.

Great ride, followed by a beer at the Royal Oak. Suggest on future Thursday summer evenings, we meet at 18.30 at the normal car park,for those that can get there have an hour and then loop back to the car park for 19.30 and have another spin with anyone who arrives. ?

Last Thursday ride was nice. The "refreshment" stop at the Old Oak even better.

This Thursday, Master Neil opened the trail, Magic Gavin went uphills without being out of breath and I counting down the miles before the Old Oak.

Really nice ride in this weather and a lot of light to enjoy till late.

Couldn't make it last week as I was experiancing excruiating pain from circuit training the night before.

I cant make it this Thursday, enjoy.

John it's been a 6.30 meet and return to car park at 7.30, to see if anyone else wants to join the ride. I'm supposed to be going surfing on Thursday but conditions don't look good for that. In which case I will be there at 6.30. Any one else going? Gav? Darren i know you were thinking of giving it a go?
