Re: rockshox pike
Pikes are so last year - try the new Sektor in the coil version if you want a close match to that spec.
'the right fork for any singletrack mission' - sounds like it suits you!?
Motion control, 32mm uppers, QR, 15mm or 20mm axles.

Re: rockshox pike
I had rockshox pike 454 dual air forks on my Prophet, I really liked them. Good quality reliable did the job well and the 20mm Maxle made this a great fork.

Sup Jimmer.....you can't go wrong with Pikes, they are pretty much the do-it-all work horse for SRAM. Dual airs are around 4.5lb I think. You know they're 20mm axle though yes?, as far as I know they didn't make 9mm QR, so unles you run 20mm currently then you'll need a new front wheel unless you can modify the front axle.
Are they used, if so I cam imagine you're getting a deal? If you're buying new, then make sure you get a deal.....if not, and you still want 20mm, consider the Sektors. There is a guy selling a brand new pair here for £220 ($300) if you're interested but they're 15mm. They are getting good reviews, stiff, light and fit and forget.
CLICKY CLICKY
But if you're getting a new 20mm front, def check out the Fox 36's. I have the new 2011 36 Talas, and it ROCKS !!! I had the 2010 RC2 and that is bullet proof also. You'd think 36mm stanchions and a 20mm thro axle will be overkill for Trail riding, but man its rediculously stiff....baby head rocks just don't have any affect on your steering, going through rock gardens is just effortless, really boosts your confidence.
I'm even running my Talas 36's on my Prange P7 hardtail .....don't think I'll ever go back to anything less than 20mm axle !
