Re: M.K, relocation?
Hi Phill,
All i can offer is my experience of relocating to Mk five years ago mate.Very very happy living here to be honest, loads to do,plenty of green spaces around,go anywhere around the city on a bike using the redways and obviously you have Woburn just down the road
One bit of advice I'd give to anyone moving to MK is really check out what estate you plan to live on,we did a lot of research into the different estates so I'm pretty clued up if you want any advice.

Re: M.K, relocation?
Hi Phil
Same as Darren, but I've lived here all my life.
It's great, you can go anywhere by bike without hardly coming into contact with a road. Great for getting some training in on these nice summer evenings.
I'd say the outskirts of the city are among the nicest bits. As you know, I live in Newport Pagnell, and it's perfect. Woburn is a comfortable 8.5 miles away, and once again, you barely need to go on a road to get there.

Re: M.K, relocation?
You def need to run by your possible choices of house with some one that knows area well
Milton Keynes is seperated by grids that are named in addresses so if you have addresses of houses you're looking at some one who knows Milton Keynes will be able to advise you on area
I used to work in a job that involved visiting houses all over MK so have been into all grids if that helps
Oh and YOU WILL NEED A MAP ha ha
oh and skills in negotiating roundabouts if in ya car

Re: M.K, relocation?
Hi Phil
No worries mate. Like any town or city, there are some nice bits and some crappy bits.
If you get to the point where you want to have a proper look round, it's best done by bike as you can get a real feel for the place, rather than just the main roads. Just give me a shout mate and I'll be happy to show you around one Saturday morning, or one evening.
It is, as Darren mentioned, the best place for getting around on a bike.
Ciao buddy

Hi Phil
I've lived here all my life too and have really enjoyed it. Danny is quite the expert on which pubs are the best so give us a shout when you need some pointers.
