My self and a friend did a local (local to me) ride around Osmaston today, the book said “makes a good summer evening ride with some excellent pubs” well, with over 15 inches of snow on some of the roads/bridleways/fields and a wind factor of -8C it was a bit like the Siberian waste lands out there today. 43K long and was snowing most of the time, but this turned out to be a great fun ride, even if it was a bit cold. Yes we did stop off at the pub for a pint and yes we did have a snow ball fight and yes we got back before dark, just
