club website
Hi all,
there is work afoot on building the club a new website. However there is a small issue we have run into.
This is the design for the new website:-
and this is the current implementation of the new website:-
The biggest thing that is missing is a cycling photo banner image at the top (the one with a full face helmet wearing down hill biker). We thought we would rather have a picture from the club, or perhaps several pictures from the club. Therefore we are asking for you to look through your mountain biking photos, of club trips etc for your favorite photos. Please feel free to post them here on this thread and the best ones will be selected for infamy on the new club website!

Re: club website
Not much here but these were all taken on our local trails:

And a friend of mine has some here too:

(although best to ask first if you want to use these ones)
We are planning to take some proper lighting up the woods soon and do some decent shots of some of the newer trails. Probably over the Christmas period. You're welcome to use anything decent that comes out of that.

Re: club website
I see the clubs new Cyclone web site is coming together, looks good so far.
Given that the web is world wide, the only clue to our location is the weather forcast I assume there is a lot more work to do on this yet?

Re: club website
Glad you like the new website. Still work to be done on it and we have several ideas of things we would like to add. There should be a list of links across the top of the webpage. One of these is a link to where we ride also the about page has a description of where we are based. Unfortunately there is a bit of a bug where the links don't appear if you come to the site from the .com domain. IF this happens go to the site via either of the .co.uk domains (www.cyclonembc.co.uk or www.cyclonemountainbikingclub.co.uk).
We are looking into fixing this asap (as well as adding more content), however things like work and actual mountain biking keep getting in the way .
Any ideas or suggestions feel free to pass them on or post them here.

The list of links at the top only seem to work if you use the www.cyclonembc.co.uk not on the www.cyclonemountainbikingclub.co.uk
Re: club website
The links along the top should now be working whatever domain you use to get to the site .
Current to do list:-
add link to events google calendar
setup contact email addresses
add contact email addresses to website
committee mug shots (if you are on the committee then please feel free to send me your proffered picture)
I recently added a post to the website about our adventures at the muc off 8. If you attend a trip, club night out etc and want to write a report of your adventures for the website then any submissions would be gratefully received . We should also be able to post maps, images, videos etc so if you want any of those added let me know as well .

Re: club website
Looks good.
On the calendar on the front page is it possible to make each event a link that takes you to the event website?
