New to the forest
Hi All,
Interested in joining the club and would be grateful to anyone who could show me around the forest this weekend (3/4 Oct). Sat or Sunday...or maybe both.
I see you have rides starting at 10 and 11 on Sunday. Is there anything different between these ride? Distance, pace etc?
I went up yesterday and found that to get the most out of the ride I definately need some local knowledge.
Thanks in advance
Shaun

Re: New to the forest
Hey Jim,
thanks for the response. I am resonably fit but of course depends who I ride with, can happily ride for a couple of hours at pace without many stops. Just got back into mountain biking after 5 or so years off.
Am on a hardtail. A felt six comp.
Thanks jim
Look fwd to meeting up

Re: New to the forest
There is no difference to the pace between 10 and 11.
Depending on numbers groups are sometimes split between fast and faster, don't be put off by fast and faster is to make people feel better! no one gets left behind.
All that happens is people start riding at 10am the ride loops back to the car park for 11 to pick up any late starters or to drop of people who only want to do an hour.
