Guys,

I want to put a shorter stem on my Giant Trance X1 thats got a 110mm stem.Trouble is I don't know whether to go for a 70mm or 90mm and will 20mm make that much of a difference??.
At 70 quid a pop I obviously want to get the decision right, so any advice would be greatly appreciated on the different lengths and what they have to offer. Question

Cheers

Darren,

Are your bars oversized or standard. Try before you buy, I have a 90mm I could lend you first if it helps.

Try the 90m stem stay away from the 70mm as that's to short for the riding you do, unless ofcourse your a midget....

Ah oversized is it?

Fizz has an oversized stem in the draw but I think its 100mm? If you'd still like to try it I'll dig it out and send it along with her on Sunday if you're about?

Thanks Superflyjim, I think I will go for a 90mm sounds about right for me.
At 6ft I might struggle to pass for a midget! Very Happy

Cheers for the offer Gav, but i think I'm going to go ahead and get a 90mm next week.

Thanks again guys
