Hey all!

Long time no see!

I am about still - honest!

Need a quick bit of advice. I'm watching a frame at the moment on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=160316119712.
It's listed as large, and the current owner states that he's 6ft and it fits him. I'm only really 5'10 - would this frame be too big for me do you reckon?

Thanks for your thoughts peeps!

Steve

Have a look on the Giant website at the geometry (especially TT length) and then compare it to the geometry of your current bike(s).

Or nip in to Roy Pinks and try one for size

Cheers dude.

Read a review of a 2007 model, and it said that the medium was too big for their 5'9 test rider, so I think a large would certainly be too big for me.

That made me chcukle - I don't even have a top tube Laughing My bike resembles a certain letter of the alphabet a bit too much

Laughing Not much! Have you seen my current steed?! Shocked

Thanks for the offer, but I've pretty much decided that the Anthem is the bike for me and what I want to do.

Just torn between buying an Anthem frame and building it up through the year as I get funds, buying a complete bike outright on a 12 month intrest free option and putting money towards payments each month, or buying a new chainset for my current bike to keep it going another year while I save for a new one.

Smile hey Steve its Phil, hope your well.
from your last answer ,it seems to me to make sense going the 12 months interest free option because..

if you was to save and wanted the bike within a year you would have to put away what you would have spent per month on an interest free purchase anyhoo, or am i missing somthing,
also you would get the bike a year earlier on the pay per month int free jobbie, oui?non? cyclops

i posted this and now i need to add somthing..

i think the interest free would be over 2 years wouldnt it.
that may ease the cash burden.

A good bike, I would def try it for size. I have a Giant hardtail which is small and I have riden mediums on most other frames that I have had. Giant tend to have long top tubes. As Jase said, Roy Pinks would be a good option to try one...

Have you checked out Pauls Cycles as they normally have killer deals on Anthem’s?
