Swinley Forest ride Monday 29th December
All,
We're planning on riding in Swinley Forest on Monday 29th, all welcome. Swinley has some great riding (MBUK voted it trail of the year in 2004) and is just over an hour's drive from MK.
Woody and I figured the Monday would be best, allowing us to get a last ride of the year at Aspley the day before. Looks like Si's in as well.
So, the plan is: Meet at the lookout, Swinley Forest at 09.45 on Monday 29th, See: http://www.gorrick.com/swinley/ for directions and details. We plan to ride as long as there's light, but will be looping back regularly so come along for as long as you want. The cafe's due to be open and does decent hot and cold food.
You'll need a day permit - costs just £2 either on the morning or from the website.
Anyone else fancy it?
Steve

Ashridge sounds good, shouldn't be too muddy either as the mud will be frozen.
I nice and close for me as well

How about meeting at the monument? most people know where that is, easier to get to for people coming from MK too.
10 am at the monument on Saturday ?
