HELP please, Can I borrow some forks?
Calling all MTB's,
After a comedy tumble today it appears I may have written off my forks. No spectacular story of bravery or even tom foolery to report and I didn't land in a tree or get a fence post of a thorn impalled in my face.
It appears the arch on the lower legs has twisted. I'm waiting for a price of replacement lowers at the moment from a very friendly bike store(Leisure Lakes - Daventry), they may be worth repairing though I'm not holding my breath.
It's a big ask but if anyone has some forks I may borrow suitable for a Prophet 1000 with 140mm rear travel (the front doesn't need to match) I would be really really gratefull. Maybe I could still then go to the Peaks next weekend.
Thanks All,
07817 475938
Fingers are crossed very tightly.

Ha Ha Ha. I dont think anyone was behind us to laugh as we went down.
The forks are going in for repair. If I don't have them ready for the Peaks on Sunday I should be able to borrow a Stumpy for the weekend.
