For sale: Kinesis Maxlight XC Frame
Noticed the other day that I've still got this frame sitting up on top of my wardrobe.
Details:
There are a few scratches / chips to the paintwork, especially on the chainstay (chainslap and heel wear).
It's disc or rim-brake, currently I've blanked the post holes with 'little-blankers'. Slight caveat though - I can't find the adapters to convert the hose slots to cable end slots, but who uses v-brakes anyway? You can get around this by running a full length cable outer.
Only £70
I live in MK, so you're welcome to come round and take a look.
Larger copies of the photos available here:

Details:
- 17.5 inch frame (suits 5'6 - 5'10)
- 2004 model
- Includes Ringlé cartridge bearing headset
- QR seat-post clamp
- Easton double butted main tubes

Re: For sale: Kinesis Maxlight XC Frame
Yup, the frame is still available
I'm not sure about a 130mm fork though to be honest. I had a 100mm one on it, but 130mm might be too long. Not certain the front of the bike is strong enough either.
Anyone else know any better I've never used a 130mm fork!

Re: For sale: Kinesis Maxlight XC Frame
Kinesis state its set up for 100mm.
As they also released a Maxlight 120 set up for 100 - 130mm forks.
See http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=15099
" The Easton tubed Maxlight XC is still extremely popular, but times are moving on and longer travel forks are becoming the norm. The XC>120 is based on the much loved geometry of the Maxlight XC but has been re-designed to accomodate the latest crop of modern, adjustable 100 - 130mm suspension forks. It is designed for the same type of riding style as the Maxlight XC, but with the added dimension that a longer travel fork can give. "

Maxlight
Thanks for replys, I'll give it a miss Tom as the forks I have 130's and I think it may throw the geometry out to much.
