Guys.

Was planning to go for a bike ride up the Brampton Valley Way (Northampton) on Saturday & then have some lunch in the Windhover pub afterwards if you would like to join us it’s a max 30 mile ride.
Give us a shout…..

Err looked at this website and it suggests taking some lights as there are a couple of tunnels.

....you know the myth about carrots making you see better in the dark? Well I discovered an interesting factoid t'other day, that rumour was started by the RAF to explain their bombing accuracy with the use of radar. They didn't want to admit that they had a working model so explained their new found target finding as feeding pilots and navigators on carrots Suspect

Just looking at the maps linked from that site, and trying to figure it out. I'm not too familiar with Northampton - I can get to work and that's about it! Embarassed Laughing

Is the start of that route, the disused railway crossing near the brewery? It's next to a scrap metal dealer?

Might have to give it a go in a lunchtime next week perhaps
