Aston Hill to Close!!!!!

Just found out that Aston Hill is going to close on April 6 PERMANENTLY

I,ve been over there a few times. The XC loop is hard work but massively satisfying on the odd occasion I got up the climbs. Its hard to see how they can just close it; will they bulldoze the trails to keep people off of them? FC land would be restricted I guess. Bloody shame that. Wonder how much it would cost to take up the lease.

Yeah its certainly a toughie ,especially when its wet ,one half down the other up and what a climb

I wonder if anybody else will come in and take on the lease. It would be a shame if it was left to go to pieces, or worse, The FC bulldozed it. I guess we,ll have to see.

Buckingham Bikes have taken over the lease.

That's a shame... was thinking about taking their 'jumping for numpty XC-fanboys' course that they sometimes run, and surprising you with my slick phat air moves on Sunday morning.
