Hi Chambo,

The hope Vision one has good performance, comes with a helmet mount and is a resonable price.

The down side is its a little on the heavy side.

Kona Dave has a good light he mounts to his helmet. Ask him as I can't remember where he bought it.

His user name on the forum is Si and he has a picture of a silver Orange 5. I'm sure he'll clock this thread and be in touch.

The USE joysticks seem to be the light to have if you are looking to buy one. All the night events I've been to the joystick was the helmet light of choice They are worth the investment if you are planning on doing more night riding after the event. If you are just looking for a light for the weekend then I believe they hire lights out to people (and recharge them for you during the race). That might be the cheapest option.

Did I hear my name mentioned in vain?

I use these...

http://www.fenixtorch.co.uk/led_torches/lockblock.html

You get 2 hrs out of 2x 2700Mah AA rechargeable, when they are flat, you shove some more batteries in.

Probably the best bang for the buck.
