Woohoo, I didn't come last Smile At the end of the first lap I felt sick and thought of going home but it wasn't so bad after that. Interesting course with some uncomfortable off-camber slippery bits. I managed to stack it going down the grassy hill and on the third last tarmac corner.

I'm going to stick some gears back on the hardtail for summer race purposes...

Me no last either!!! Yippee. Laughing I found that tougher than I expected though.

My chain came off on the first climb out of the woods, that was me back in last place straight away. To add to my embarresment at that time, there was my son at the top laughing saying 'you really are last now dad'. Rolling Eyes

Well I did catch a few but spent lots of time getting stuck behind others on the technical bits and having no strength to push hard on the flat.

Who's going to Borough Hill, Daventry this Friday.

Here you go Woody:

Danny & I will hopefully be there this Friday and actually ride this time. Got some great photos of the race at the bowl though......decided spectating was almost as much fun as taking part! Will bring the photos with me to the next club night.

That's it - my bike is leaving MK with Pinky's forks on before she gets carried away. Mine are fooked AGAIN!!! The cost to repair will be nearly as much as they were new this time.
