My local DH trail with the GoPro camera
Filmed this at the weekend on the GoPro HD cam using a chest mount. A great day, on our regular DH trail called "Suicide" in Thousand Oaks, some pretty bad exposure at the top, the drop to the right is about 200ft ! The very first rock garden has got me mentally for about the last 3 rides, its just one HUGE boulder after another, finally gave it a go last Sunday, its all about speed and LOTS more than you think you'd need......and I spose 220mm of travel also helps
I tried to stabilize the video as best as I could on iMovie, but maybe need to adjust by rebound and high speed compression a little more.
The houses you can see at 1min 33 is where we live.
But if anyone is thinking of getting a helmet cam the GoPro HDs are awesome, records in 1080p, although you can only upload in 720p on most sites at the moment. $300 over here if anyone wants a hookup.

Recorded another AM trail yesterday. View form the top is sweet, descent is nice too. But there is a sh1tter of a climb thats 1m 18secs of buggerance factor !! Video makes it look easy peasy !
