Gorrick 100 Enduro Challenge
The Enduro is now known as one of the best enduro races in the country. Based at Swinley Forest we use all the great trails in Surrey Hill and Crowthorne Wood. You choose how many laps you want to ride - between 2 and 7 - of an approximately 10 mile lap.

I've entered the 7 laps. I don't know if I can do it, but there's one way to find out.

Re: Gorrick 100 Enduro
It rained heavily all night at home. It was raining constantly as I drove to swinley. The rain stopped when I reached the M4 and will driving past Bracknell I noticed the roads were dry. Arriving at the race venue I thought I'd got away with it. The trails look soft but not soaking. We started at 0830 and within ten minutes it started raining heavily. The first lap was good until my chain snapped and then I lost 10-15 places, I was getting cold by the end of it and stuck the waterproofs on at the pit area. I was 61st at that point. Shortly into the second lap my feet got soaked and it the trails were turning into slurry. about half way through that lap my rear brake disappeared. After 2:48:10 and 2 laps I was in 57th position. I decided to bail at that point. I couldn't feel my toes and fingers.
For a full report see the gorrick website
What didn't suprise me was that NO ONE did 7 laps! Only three riders did 6!
