Woody Obstructions

Post  tezza on 2008-04-16, 10:46

Anybody else ride out from the church car park? Some large stumps have been placed across the top of the short incline over the road from the car park. Anybody any idea if this is a Bedford Estates/ Ranger thing? Surely all it will do is make people (bikers, walkers, doggers) create new routes to get up that side, rather than stop them, which I guess was the point of the exercise!!!

if they wanted to stop people using the eroded section they could have put the logs in further along and diverted the flow to the right. If it was estates people doing it it,ll be interesting to see what happens litigation- wise the first time someone hurts themselves, slips down the bank avoiding the loags or falls off them whilst messing about, walkers, doggers etc. they arent signed and neither is the risk of injury, very un h&s like.

yeh, realised my faux pas!! I am guessing that the whole dogging thing has something to do with dog walking, hence the name so maybe i,m not far out. Still a pain to get round though
